Best of 2014-Makeup and Skincare

2014 has been an year full of new experiences for me. Even when it comes to makeup, I got to try lots of new brands and products, some of which have become staples and others that are off my shopping list for the next time. Today, I'll be sharing with you the best of my makeup and skincare I used throughout 2014.

1) Sleek Eye Dust

Why I love it: Because it's a beautiful loose powder eye shadow with a brilliant color payoff without having to use an eye shadow primer. It is a versatile product and will also make a good highlighter for a bold look. Plus, it is affordable and I love the color range (read review).

2) Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick:

Why I love it: The formula, the finish and the color range won my vote. I'd love to get more of these. They're easily available and match high end quality standards (read review).

3) MUA Powder Blusher

Why I love it: Because it is the perfect every day blush. Its light weight formula, the beautiful coverage, the price tag and the little size make it a must have product for every girl (read review).

4) DMGM Studio Perfection Secret Wonder Foundation

Why I love it: It is the ultimate answer to my perfect foundation search. There's nothing that I don't like about it. It suits me and keeps my skin happy. I wasn't much into liquid foundations but the DMGM Secret Wonder foundation (read review) just changed my perception. Even my Makeup Forever Duo Mat (read review) is no match for this baby.

5) Arcancil Matic Mascara

Why I love it: The formula, staying power and of course the color payoff. There's nothing that I don't like about it. It's basically the reason I'm trying to get back to mascaras as I had lost interest in them (read review).

1) TBS Seaweed Pore-Cleansing Facial Exfoliator

Why I love it: It fights oil and dirt and keeps my skin matte for long hours. Plus it also scrubs out dead skin revealing a smoother, glowing surface (read review)

2) Hello Glow Whitening Plus Facial Polish

Why I love it: It's all natural ingredients and I love the subtle glow it produces. It doesn't last for very long but I can live with that (read review).

Have you tried any of these products? Do share your experience. Ciao!
