GHD (Good Hair Day) is a hair products brand from Leeds, UK, well known for its great quality and beautiful products, especially hair straighteners.  I found out about GHD, while googling for straightening irons a long time ago. But alas! Finding such brands in Pakistan was next to impossible in that time, until I found this page on facebook, where they were selling different GHD models and that's where I got mine from.

The box came in damaged from one corner. I guessed it was forced into the delivery box, which was rather small. Anyway, I used some uhu and scotch tape and it's good as new.

Upon opening, the box reveals a beautiful heat resistant, hot pink straw bag, called the "Raffia". It is somewhat different from what it appears on Google, and big in size. I cannot carry this bag outside though, because it opens up into a flap.

Also in the box is an instructions guide and a warranty booklet. I noticed there was suppose to be a  mirror, that was missing. Upon asking the seller, I was told that the mirror was taken away at the customs in Karachi. I couldn't understand why, but I thought it was no use arguing so I didn't ask for further clarifications.

Inside the bag is, a very cute white-hot pink combo patterned pouch where the straightener rests. The flap also has a little pocket where you can store your hair thingies. There's also a zipped pocket, with a pretty butterfly charm.

The pouch is attached to the flap through a Velcro strip. It can easily be detached (and attached). It can make a nice cosmetics bag as well.

There's an on/off button and an led indicator. I didn't find any temperature controls. But I guess that's ok, if they have a moderate setting.

The styler is gorgeous and looks like a fashion accessory. It is light weight and I so love the top pattern. I've read good reviews about it on Google and I'm eager to try it. The only thing I do not like is the adapter, which is a 3 pin and thick. I'll have to arrange a separate extension for this. Oh well, I guess it's worth the effort. 

The Pink patterned GHD IV Styler is a limited edition iron, and was launched to support a Pink Ribbon Cause. You may only find it on specific websites or Facebook pages that still have it in stock.
