My Wishlist 2015-Makeup and Beauty

So here's my wishlist for the current year. It is based on a deep consideration of what I actually need over spending money on just any thing. You won't see any lip sticks, glosses or blushes etc because I don't think I need any more of those at the moment. Less is more so it's better to spend on essentials rather than piling up products I won't use very often. It seems like a lot but I'm not going to go for all of the stuff above. Here's a breakdown.

1) Urban Decay Smoked Palette: I've been eyeing this one for a long time now. I prefer matte over shimmer and I think this palette has a beautiful range of colors I'd want to play with. Plus, it is affordable as compared to the naked palettes.

2) Beauty Blender or Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge: I use the Sigma F 80 brush (read review) to apply foundation but I think it's about time to give any of these a try. There's a major difference when it comes price but I'm not concerned about it. I'll take which ever is in stock because I'm so not pre-ordering this stuff.

3) Real Techniques Makeup Brushes: I'll probably go for individual brushes. A kit is more essential but I'll think twice before finalizing. I just want to go for specific brushes I intend to use often.

4) Sigma E 25 and E 55: I need both of these in my life. I don't have a decent eye shadow application brush and I think, for blending E 25 is a better choice over E 40 for my eye shape. E 40 is better for big round eyes, in my humble opinion.

5) Contour Kit: I want to spend in only one and not regret later. There's a new one out every other day so I'd want to properly consider before making a purchase.

So that's it for my wish list. I might go for a Mac lipstick if I'm left with any money :P. I already have some makeup waiting for me in Pakistan which I can't wait to get my hands on. Hope you liked my list. If you have any suggestions do list them in a comment below. Ciao!

  2. I am glad you did this post because a lot of us are facing the same dilemma :) Instead of UD Smoked you could try the MUA Smokin palette which is a dupe. I will be posting a review soon. BB is a much better option than RT miracle sponge in my opinion. It's on my wishlist too. I am getting some RT face brushes too. I definitely think Sigma has the best eye brushes although if you want to save money on the shader brush I recommend Colorstudio Pro shader brush available from superstores in Pakistan. I myself want a fluffy blending Sigma brush. I went through the painful contour kit phase and Sleek won hands down because it is awesome and SO affordable in comparison. It has a natural highlighter too ad doubles as a matte bronzer. I am working on its review too. I am fair and I use it in Medium so I feel yours may be the Dark shade. Hope I helped you :)

  5. Get beauty blender no matter what! The RT sponge stiffens and go bad after a few uses! I want to invest in a proper contour kit too! :) x
