Fashion Haul-Black Heels, Ideas by Gul Ahmed

I fell in love with these heels the moment I saw them. They're so "Louboutin" like and these are the kinds of shoes I simply cannot ignore. When I tried them on the first time, I was able to walk well, although the heel is quite narrow and 4 inches long. The material is hard leather with a thread stitch design. The soul is kind of hard so, those of you who like soft soles might not feel very comfortable in these babies. All in all, they'll go with every outfit in your wardrobe.

I was not a big fan of stuff from Ideas, but while I was there and looked around, I came across this pretty little tote, which was available in a dusky red, mustard and a teal shade (picture above). I must say, I don't regret the purchase. The design is modern and there's so much room in there, that my stuff sometimes gets lost in there. Inside, it has three stitched pockets and one zipper pocket. Also, there's a zipper pocket at the back. The material is soft leather with a croc skin like design. I love the front brooch and charms, as they add a touch of glamour. I carry this bag to work and even casually and it's definitely going to be with me for a long time.

So, I was out for some summer shopping and ended up with these beauties.

I grabbed these strappy sandals the moment they caught my eye. I was delighted to find something that is not all stones, sequins and beads. The straps hold on to a firm grip and the sole is comfortable. The front strap gives a very classy English look. 
Colors available were a dull red, a beautiful teal shade and beige (picture above). I wore these to a wedding and I must say they're a great choice, especially if you're not into sparkly shoes.
 

This beautiful clutch was available in 3 colors, silver (picture above), a dark brown and a copper. The fabric is crinkled silk. It's very soft and capacity is decent enough to carry an i-Phone, camera and some makeup. I hate clutches that don't have enough space to carry my stuff, as I'd have to carry them in hand, so this one is great for girls who share my opinion. The inner fabric is a nice purple shade (don't really know why purple exactly?). It also has a small inner pocket and a silver chain, if you'd like to carry it the classic way. 

It's the first time I've bought something in this pretty peachy pink shade. At the display it was half the size it looks here. That's because it's a convertible bag. Didn't know that, until I picked it. I wasn't really going to buy it, but since it's convertible I couldn't resist it. The material is soft leather and it's embellished with three gold chains. It can be carried like a shoulder bag (the longer gold chain is for this purpose) or let it hang on your forearm (the shorter chains are for that). The design is what makes it different from everything that is available out there. Has a lot of storage space with an inner pocket and another zipped pocket at the back. A must have for summers!

Result: This is the first time I gave brown eyeliner  a try and I must say, I don't regret it. Since I didn't want to compromise on quality, I chose to try Rimmel.

Result: The word "Mirage" is French and means "to look at or to wonder at". The Coastal Scents 88 Mirage Palette was launched in February 2011. The palette since then has not been a lot in the lime light but it is a successful CS product. The only reason it is not well known, perhaps, is the success ratio of other Coastal Scents 88 palettes, especially, the 88 warm and shimmer palette. But when i was shopping for a palette for myself I wanted something that suits my complexion and different textures.

Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Palette

Result: I discovered Coastal Scents a few years ago, while googling about eye makeup and I was really impressed with their makeup line, especially the eye shadows. Result: So I go to my regular store one day and find Rivaj UK nail colors. I was like, o.k cool. Then I see this dazzling electric blue shade that i have been after for some time now. I just rush to the counter, grabbed it, applied it and i loved it. So i picked 2 more shades and yes, I'm happy that I did.

Rivaj UK holds a good reputation in the cosmetic industry. It is not as well known as MAC or other top brands but there's no doubt the brand offers super quality makeup at great prices. Let's jump into details.

Classic Smokey Eye

This look is inspired by Christine of Temptalia.com In her tutorial she's used everything mac, but I'm going to do the look using some basic cosmetics that are available in almost all major cities throughout Pakistan. My tutorial is limited to the eye makeup only. You can accompany it with your choice of lips and cheeks. Do try it out and let me know how it came out.
