Guide: 10 Things You Should Use Everyday

When it comes to grooming, we spend in the most
expensive clothing and accessories we can afford,
wear beautiful perfumes and get the best spa treatments
and makeup. We want to stay updated with what's in
and now but still, there are 10 little things most of us ignore, which can be of big help throughout the day. Still don't get what I'm talking about? Read below and you'll be surprised.

Deodorant

You spray deodorant in the morning and rush to school/college/work, but do you use it again? Probably not. Using deodorant at least 2 times a day helps retain that fresh feeling and in a weird way, refreshes your mood. Spray on, especially, before that important meeting, an interview or even a gathering and you'll actually feel a sudden gust of energy.

Hand Cream

Keep hands soft and smooth. Invest in a good quality brand cream, which will last for hours. 8 in 10 people will never pay much attention to their hands, but not to mention, nobody likes a rough feel during a handshake. Not me either.
Apply cream in the morning or before you step out. It might not matter much initially, but when you get used to soft supple hands, you would not want to let go of this good habit.

Foot Cream

From experience, I have come to know that feet, will not tan as fast as any other part of the body, but will however, turn all patchy if not taken well care of. If you cannot get a pedicure every week, use a foot lotion or cream instead. A quality product works wonders and feet discoloration will disappear sooner than one can expect.

Chap stick/Lip Balm

Chap stick is one of my favorite skin care products. I have oily skin but extremely dry textured lips, so I have to keep them moisturized all day long. And I believe it helps lipstick stay on longer. So no matter what weather or event, always carry a chap stick in your bag/purse.

Sun Screen/Block

It took me ages to find the perfect sunblock for me. Well, actually my dermatologist recommended it. But before that, I tried out numerous brands but they would just melt off or turn yellow, after me being 15 minutes in the sun. I definitely recommend using a sunblock daily, but it is important for you to find the right formulation for your skin type.

Astringent/Cleanser

I've made it a habit to cleanse my face with an astringent when I get home from a tiring day at work. I even use it as a makeup remover because this stuff is great. I use the Clinique Clarifying Lotion in no 3. It's been out there for years and is still loved by women around the world.
Always remember to cleanse your face at the end of the day. Trust me, you'll be doing a great favor to your beautiful skin.

Bobby Pins

I love bobby pins. I have tons of them in various colors and believe they're one of the most important hair accessory every girl should have in her dresser. Bobby pins can be used to hold the very flirty pony tail to expert level hair styles. Whats best is that they don't show and hair looks as if it's styled on its own.

Pedicure Tools

Pedicure tools are essential for happy feet. I have a four way tool (picture, blue one in the bottom. Comes with a scrubber, pumice stone, brush and a steel dead skin peeler. The best time to use this stuff is while your feet are soaked in soap/body wash lather. DO NOT rub it on dry feet.

Mints

One can't brush all the time, so it's important to keep mints/gums with you. They come in handy when you least expect them. Be it an important meeting, a gathering or a date, mints are always helpful when you're going to interact with someone. Plus, they're a lot safer then mouth spray.

Lipstick/Gloss

I love love love lip glosses and lipsticks and never leave home, without these in my bag. Even if you're not wearing any makeup at all, a swish of a gloss or lipstick is enough to complete your look. Nude pinks and beige have been the trends for a long time now and are celebrity favorites as well. Make sure to spend in a good brand as they last a life time.
